Woman thankful for hospice care from Providence
“From the moment I met the hospice social worker, I was reassured,” Wendy says. She continued to be impressed by the quality of the hospice equipment, particularly the airbed that Wendy says made such a difference for them. “He remained comfortable.”
“A day or two before he died,” Wendy says, “he had some questions about his death. The social worker answered every question directly and reassured him. He was so happy to have information and was at peace with the dying process.”
Wendy also speaks highly of the primary care nurse. “From day one, she let us know that she would be available whenever she was needed, and she was,” she says. “She sat with me when my tears wouldn’t stop. I will forever be grateful for her compassion. My Gonzo was kept comfortable as promised.”
“I will always be grateful for her compassion.” Wendy Pera, whose husband Gonzalo received hospice care from Providence.
Gonzalo was given compassionate hospice care in his last days.
Wendy wants to thank everyone. “The care and compassion provided was beyond compare!”
And she wants everyone to know about Providence Hospice. “I share my experience with Providence every chance I get!” she says.
